This weekend we ventured back to Orillia to stay with Jo and Pat Boake. Jo and Pat are on their second exchange to Canada and on Saturday night we were invited to their friends, Dan and Joannes home near Midland for a pigroast.
Before that though there was a compulsory round of golf with the usual mix of dumb shots, magnificent shots ( Pat's birdie on the 6th), bad luck ( who put that tree there?) and laughs.
Later we headed to Dan and Joanne's where we surprised to meet some other exchangees ( see photo) among the 60 or so guests. Dan and Jo have a fantastic property close to Georgian Bay and are terrific hosts. We had a lovely night of feasting, laughing and singing.
Sunday's planned golf was washed out but we had a great time.
