BAR HARBOUR

After leaving Nova Scotia we wanted to go to Quebec City but thought it would be nice to see some of the New England Atlantic coast. We decided to go to Bar Harbour in Maine for 2 days and what a great decision that was. We arrived on the July 4th weekend and the place was pumping. We stayed in a hotel on the main street in walking distance to shops and cafes. The Acadia National park backed onto the township and had beautiful views over the Atlantic Ocean. Bar Harbour is a summer holiday destination for many Americans.
