GRAND CANYON

The highlight of the trip for both John and I was the Grand Canyon. We took a tour bus ( this left at 6:10am ) to the Grand Canyon. The trip took 4 and 1/2 hours to get there but it was worth it. The canyon was just awesome, both in size and colour. We wished we had have had more time so we could have walked some of the trails but we could only spend 90 minutes at 2 different stops. We did the South Rim tour as I think this is the closest to get to from Las Vegas. The colours in the rocks ranged from a creme, pink, orange to deep purple depending on the sunshine. There was still snow in some areas which added to the look.
