NIAGARA FALLS

Good Friday saw us drive the 3.5 hours to Niagara. After lunch in the quaint village of Niagara-on-the-Park we headed to the falls. We could see the mist from a long way off and as soon as we got out of the car we could HEAR the falls. Joining throngs of other tourists we got as close as we could. This time of year the Maid of the Mist cruise doesn't run so we just viewed the falls from the Canadian side. The Canadian Horshoe Falls were very impressive but the Amarican side was quite disappointing. Click on the photos to enlarge.
