Wonderful Wanakita - Part 4

Sunday morning dawned bright and sunny again. Excitement was high at breakfast as we were all looking forward to our next adventure - dog sledding. Everyone headed for the lake to greet the dogs,who were possibly more excited than we were

( see video ). After meeting our beautiful Siberian Huskies we were given our instructions and off we went. We each had a turn at driving a team of 5 of these magnificent animals, using commands "Hike" for go and "Whoa" for stop, and travelling in the basket. It was a great thrill and something we will never forget ( especially Jenny from New Zealand who got peed on 3 times ).
