The afternoon was spent toboganning. There were 2 hills to choose from "Little Cardiac Arrest" and "Big Cardiac Arrest" . After grabbing whatever we could use for toboggans ranging from matresses, plastic toboggans and garbage tin lids we had an absolute ball trying to see who could go the furthest ( including one person who nearly ended up in the lake ), go fastest, scream loudest, get the most air and have the best wipeouts. As usual, the kids won most categories, though Tracy was a close second on the loudest scream. We had so much fun we reluctantly stopped just in time for happy hour again, though we had to limit our intake as a huge adventure lay ahead - a night time cross country ski across frozen Lake Koshlong with only lanterns to guide us. It was eerie looking out over the lake to see the lanterns stretched out ahead. At the end of the ski a bonfire and hot chocolate was waiting for us.
