CANMORE, ALBERTA

The last part of our tour saw us visiting Marilyn ( exchange teacher to Rowville in 2007) in Canmore. She lives in a really beautiful part of the world. Canmore is in the rocky Mountains, 20 km from Banff ( my favourite place ). When you step out of Marilyn's home and look around there are mountains everywhere. They haven't had much of a summer so lots of the mountains still had snow on the top. We visited Banff on the first day and then did some hiking in the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park the next 2 days. We flew out of Calgary on Monday 4th August and arrived home to Owen Sound that night.
