We spent the weekend at Camp Wanakita, a YMCA outdoor adventure camp about 4 hours east of Owen Sound. After borrowing a GPS navigation system we arrived safe and sound just in time for "happy hour" on Friday night and caught up with all our new best friends from Austalia, NZ and England (fellow ITF exchangees). It was especially great to catch up with Kate and Brett (Rowville PS friends).
Our first acivity on Saturday was snow shoeing through the "Enchanted Forest" to a beaver dam on a nearby creek. Though the beavers weren't out and about we could certainly smell their presence.
