Inglis Falls

We'd heard that Inglis Falls was worth a look, especially as the false spring we're having has thawed the snow and put lots more water into the Sydenham River so we headed off from Harrison Park to check it out. It was about a 5km hike through the woods and though a bit slippery underfoot, it was really nice walking through the lightly falling snow in the mostkly deciduous forest. It's totally different to hiking in Oz. The path had interpretive signs along the way so it was good to read them and learn about the environment we were in. The falls were quite spectacular with quite a bit of history of the pioneering days in the area and plenty of water going over.
